About Us

Zeitgeist Media's founder Adele Schmidt brings deep television and film production experience to the table. From script writing to final post and web outreach, Adele has written, produced and edited outstanding works including award winning PBS documentary "The Power of Forgiveness" and award winning docudrama " Albert Schweitzer - Called to Africa”.

From documentary to feature film, from corporate promotional to interactive training videos, Adele brings passion, creativity and attention to detail to every production. Her expertise in film production and her high quality standards in storytelling, visual approach and sound design derive from the education she has amassed in film and video production and her 15 year experience as a producer and editor for feature films, documentaries and corporate videos.

Originally from Germany, Adele has lived and worked in Germany and Mexico City before she settled in the United States in 2001. Adele's productions won numerous industry awards. These awards include the TIVA award, the U.S. International Film and Video Festival Award, the Jose Riverosa Award and the Society for Visual Anthropology Film and Video Festival Award.
